Payments use canonical WETH. The pool's functions and events keep "usdc" in some names from an earlier version: those amounts are wei of WETH.
The pool, the registry, the launchpad and the adapter cannot be upgraded. The vault can, and an upgrade to different code voids every collection's admission until it is proven again.
