FAQ

#Do I pay in USDT?

No. Prices are shown in USDT for reading, and you pay in ETH. The exact ETH amount is shown when you open a capsule, and your wallet shows it before you confirm.

#Why did my wallet ask for three confirmations?

A first opening wraps ETH into WETH, approves the pool, then opens. Later openings skip what is already done.

#How long does the draw take?

Usually one to two minutes. You can leave the page: your opening stays on-chain and appears in your history.

#Which token will I get?

For an ETF, a token of the collection you drew. For an intra-collection gacha, a token of the tier you drew. Expo picks it when it buys it, so it is not the one on the pack.

#How do I get my money back from a sell-back?

Sell-backs and compensation arrive as WETH. The wallet menu turns WETH into ETH.

#Can Expo change a gacha after I open it?

No. Tier odds, prizes and price are set on-chain for a configuration and cannot be edited. On a gacha that locks the prizes its reserve can't pay yet, a fully locked tier passes its share to the tier below for that opening. The owner or the creator can disable a gacha, which stops new openings. Openings already paid still settle.

#Does Expo hold my NFT?

Only between purchase and delivery. The vault can only release a token through the pool, or to its owner for recovery while no claim on that collection is waiting.

Try “sell back”, “deadline”, “USDT” or “contract”.
